I've got some fairly new Stats Crest MK3's and a new boost frame and fork. Does anyone have any experience running boost adaptors like these MT ZOOM Boost Thru Axle Hub Adapters/Conve<wbr />rsion Kit 15mm Front or 12mm Rear?
Been running a front set and haven’t died, neither has the hub.
I haven't used those, but I have used a Wolf Tooth one on a front wheel for about a year now. It's fine.
These could be a bit faffy if you take the wheels out a lot with the spacers.
Tried a rear set. Had to put both spacers on the disc side so I needed to space out the disc more with washers and redish the wheel. It worked ok with that, but a boost rearbhub went to the top of my shopping list.
I might like one for a Hope Pro II hub please.
I've got one on the rear of my bike (forks are non-boost) with Hope Pro 4 hubs. Work just fine, no issues whatsoever. No need with re-dishing on the Hope ones, the replacement top hats space the rim centrally.
Run a front and rear set on Hope Pro 2s. Small boutique US company, name escapes me. Absolutely zero problems.
I've also got a set fitted to a rear Hope Pro4. Nicely made and easy to fit. I didn't have to redish and it's running faultlessly. Well thought out piece of kit by Hope (as per usual) 🙂
I was thinking of an upgrade path for my big bike. I reckon I could get a 27.5 frame and run it with my existing 26 forks and wheels whilst I saved up for replacements - then I realised any suitable frame was likely to be boost.
I don't have hope Hubs, Stans Crest, so the solution is not as eligant but I think I can live with the spacers, especially if I don't have re-dish as it would be nice to share the wheels on two different bikes.
I wil tentatively purchase a rear adaptor and see if it works out.
I've got some on my front wheel. A hope set on the pro ii works fine, minimal effort to redish. A cheap cheap set on my winter wheels, a loop of black electrical tape solved the spacers falling off faff.
Molgrips - if you need a rear hope set let me know, I've one i bought and forgot to return languishing in a box

Ta, although I thought the Hope set only worked on Pro4.. but might be worth a try. Anyway it's pie in the sky atm.
I have used Hope's HUB493 kit to convert a Pro 2 Evo from 10x135 to 12x148, the sprockets sit a bit more inboard than they used to; in order to get it to shift correctly to the largest cog I had to space in the jockey wheels the tiniest bit using the covers from some worn jockeys (11sp SRAM X01 on XX1 sprockets).

Or or just save even more and get a used frame and fork non boost and rims and spokes.
I’ve got the Hope Boost adapter on a Pro 2 Evo rear hub. Works fine!
My LBS were kitting out my bike with new forks and hubs which were boost. I wanted to keep the old wheels as a commuting set but the front was non boost.
LBS had a mate who manufactured a non disc side spacer and re aligned the wheel. Works a treat.
Didn't look into buying a set as the LBS wanted to see if it could be manufactured so let him try.
I use an MRP one on my front Pro 4. Easy fit and forget it's there but probably one of the more expensive solutions to the problem.
I'm running the Mt Zoom on an MRP Ribbon and DT 240. Zero issues, but need to remember not lose the spacers when taking the wheel off (which is seldom for me).

I wrapped a load of electrical tape around the spacer and the proper hub endcap. Holds really well (coming up two years) and means I've essentially made a set of symmetrical boosting end caps for hope hubs. When this tape eventually dies I may try heat shrink instead.
I just roughed up both surfaces and used a little superglue. Been working for months now with no issues
