I've got some non-Boost 29" wheels that have hubs adaptable for use on a Boost frame/fork

But presumably this still needs the dishing to be corrected?

Depends.

Some boost adapters (like Hope's own-brand rear wheel one) add 3mm either side, meaning the cassette is still positioned in a "non boost" position. Means no redish is required, but chainline might not be ideal for some frames or for plus tyres.

Other ones (like Wolf tooth, Hope's front wheel one) add 6mm of spacing on one side, which does require the redish.

Re-dishing makes the wheels a bit stronger (non-drive side gets a little more tension). It's is an easy and satisfying sort of job. Just make yourself a dishing gauge out of MDF and use a good spoke tool (Spokey is my pref). Takes very little time.

The MRP ones also add spacers to both sides so no redishing is needed.

I bought a mt zoom one off ebay, for my front wheel when I bought some boost forks the other week. Spacer for brake disc and longer screws then spacer for each side of axle. No redish required. Works a treat.

No idea about the back end though...

You could use that same Mt Zoon type for the rear also (needs 12mm dianleter spacers instead of 15mm/20mm), but like the Hope kit above, the cassette is in the "wrong" position .

to put hte casette in 'boost' position you`ll need 2 of the disk spacers you get in the mt zoom adaptor set and run both axle spacers on one side of the wheel.

I need to get around to doing this on my new dartmoor as i cant fit a 32 t ring in the 'normal' position (cos it fouls the chainstay) and the chainline is therefore shocking.

boost is really really pointless

Just buy this...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VeloSolo-UK-BOOST-HUB-ADAPTER-Conversion-spacer-KIT-100mm-110mm-142mm-148mm-Axle-/382490554480

Running non boost wheels in my boost frame with this - 0 issues.

Possibly it enables your Dartmoor to have shortish chainstays and fit fat tyres?
