Maybe my google fu has failed me 🤷♂️
All I can see are Boost adapters centrelock to 6 bolt. I’d like to reuse my rotors(centrelock) with centrelock wheels.
Not really possible as far as I know. You would need to move the rotor 3mm outboard on the splines with no way of supporting the 3mm overhang of the rotor mount so may well be too weak with the load being offset from the points of support. You would also need a longer threaded centre cap to keep it all together.
It would work on the front, you'd just use a 10mm adaptor on the drive side and reddish the rim to keep the rotor in the same place. I can't think of a way for it to work on the back in the same way without a terrible chainlike or having to use a centerlock to 6 bolt adapter and then a boost adapter bolted to that.
Ah ok makes sense 🙂
Now8 make the extended offset center centerlock adapter that you need
Doh, yep,. No solution to retain CL rotors, only retain CL hubs with 6bolt rotors..
You could use the extended locking ring and machine down the CL to 6bolt adapter to 3mm, but your get 3mm less contact at the hub to rotor interface which would be less desirable than moving to 6 bolt rotors.
Sucks of course if you're running Freeza/ icetech xtr rotors that are CL only
Plus a couple of cheap new 6 bolt rotors from https://www.discobrakes.com/?s=0&t=4&#Disc_Rotors
I'm doing exactly this with a set of DT swiss wheels, works fine.
Was looking at a bargain set of new wheels. However with the extra spend on adapters/rotors it wasn’t as great a bargain 🤷♂️
Managed to source a nice second hand set of boost wheels/centrelock. No adapters required 🙂
