Anyone know where I can get a replacement front plate for the older model?

Or anyone have the new version and care to measure up the plate fixings.
This one has shed it's chrome, looks terrible.
Sorry oldgit, Trek did offer the spare face plate for the original XXX stem, on part 274804, but they have no more in Trek world anywhere. No plans to do another batch.
Only options are to see if anyone has a spare lying around, or re-plate the old one. Trek offer a trade-in on all Bontie carbon components, so if you fancy a new stem, the local dealer will quote you the trade in price via the Loyalty Scheme,

Bum buscuits. I'll pop it into an engineers for an opinion. The silver has come off, just like silver leaf. The metal underneath looks corroded i.e powdery white?
