After a rather 'fun' helmet/low hanging branch incident after all the winds on Monday I find myself in need of a new helmet.

The Bontrager Rally and Giro Feature have both caught my eye. There's about £7 difference in price (Giro is slightly cheaper), but think i'm tending towards the Rally.

Head size measures 59cm so right at the upper end of both in Medium.

I've read that the Feature sizes up quite big so a medium is probably the correct size to avoid looking like a mushroom.

Any experience on sizing for either of these helmets? Particularly interested on whether there's experience of a 59cm head in the medium Rally (which lists up to 60cm)

59cm and medium feature for me. Obviously depends on your head shape too. Thought of the mips feature?

I'm about 59-60cm, I ordered the medium for the rally, had to send it back for the large

Morning, thanks for the reply. I've not really considered the MIPS version. I will probably have a quick look though.

I was hoping to avoid the mushroom look. Did the large rally look huge on your head when you are at the bottom of the size scale?
