Hi, is the Bontrager Chupacabra avaible for sale in the UK?
They are available from trek in the UK now £89.99
90 quid? blimey its like when knards were in short supply and no other options existed (i paid €290 for 2x 120tpi) except now you can buy several different tyres for less,
crazy price
And is the Vittoria Bomboloni available ?
Making my £75 Dirt Wizards seem reasonable 😯

Any shops actually got the Chupacabras in stock?
still a couple at alltricks according to my last visit
Not if you try and buy one Clobber, they're out of stock 🙁
Oh yeah... that's pants...
(unless you put one on your basket)Hurry only 2 left in stock...
Lying toerags!
Alltricks have them for 79- 10% atm
Edit: beaten to it
Having had a play with a chupa they only seem slightly more knobbly than a chronicle
I wish Keith would bring back his frames...
singlespeed central have them (Netherlands).
I bought one from them and fitted it to my spare Jones front wheel.

They certainly do Denis99, many thanks 😀
£73 per tyre, the world is going crazy, my avon 4x4 tyres are cheaper than that...
The world is indeed going crazy.
I cant believe Ive just sent a paypal of £160 for 2 tyres for a bicycle!
I fancied those Chupacabra's though. Its only money right?
The Fat be Nimble gets a good write up.
The Fat B Nimble is also nearly £40 cheaper.
chupacabra looks (and I say looks..) like it will be better in the mud than the FBN tho
Coolest tyre name awards as well.
The FBN is more XC bias, the Chupacabra looks better for winter I think.
FBN comes up a bit smaller too, more like a 2.8 from what I've read.
I haven't got much to compare the Chupacabra against, perhaps an unfair comparison against the Maxxis Mammoth ( 26 x 4" ).
Came fitted on the 50mm Sun rims on my Trek Stache 9.
I have dropped the pressures to 10psi front and 12 psi rear with no ill effect.
No rim strikes, just plenty of grip.
Not the absolute last word in free rolling on the uphills, but I didn't expect that.
So far well impressed.

goatsuckers
Is that another new tyre or are you just insulting everyone?
If he's referring to me, that was never actually proven.
A good setup might be a Chupa front & Fat Be Nimble rear.
