I gave the knob a twizzle and it came off in my hand...
Looks like a little grub screw that pinches it onto the shaft is missing. I've been into the tray of spare bolts but don't have one long enough.
Anyone know what size grub screw I need? Or can the whole knob be purchased anywhere? Or is there a better made (Fox?) part that would fit?

Updating my own thread - I know what screw I need - it's a '8-32 X 0.250 TLG 303 Half Dog Point'
but I'm still interested in replacing the whole knob with a metal one if anyone knows anything suitable.
