...anyone know how easy to fix yourself or off to a shop sort?!

Which version of the fork? Not much around for them in terms of guides or service manuals. If you're the sort who can pull them apart ans work out what does what and how, you might be okay, if not, send them off. The insides are straight forward enough but Luke I say, there are no instructions.

They are 4-5 years old. Still feel so plush and smooth, just started banging when coming back up through the travel and the rebound dial just turns and turns and turns.
