We’re looking for recommendations of body armour for 6-8 year olds as they’re starting to push themselves a bit more.

Looking for either soft or hard armour that does cheat, back, shoulders and elbows. Not an MX-Style roost guard vest.

Ta.
Also ideally not many hundreds of pounds.

I tried a few things for my eldest - mostly because he didn't get on with many of them, either because they were uncomfortable or too restrictive (or frankly just too different to what he was used to so too much of a step change). In the end we settled on an IXS Flow vest - only back protection, but he likes wearing it as it's comfortable and quite discreet soft armour and sits under whaterver else he wants to wear (and <£80 from FC Moto, inc. shipping etc). In a similar vein he's just migrated to an IXS Carve that has additional protection.

Cool was just about to ask the same question

my 7yr old uses this:

it gives some peace of mind for £40 but I’d like to get more of a jacket type

We’ve been looking at the Tigo stuff as had good results with their gloves and kneepads.
