I've recently noticed some bubbling all over the gravel bike (carbon frame). Anyone else had this issue?

I had it years ago on a 2010 Stumpjumper FSR - it was silver and after about 5 months or so, started to get blisters of lacquer that would flake off.

Took it back to the shop I bought it from and they said 'meh, it's a mountain bike what do you expect' even though most of the blisters were in areas you wouldn't expect to see wear/trail damage.
They said they'd contact Specialized but doubted anything would be done about it. A few days later they rang & said Specialized have acknowledged it as a know issue on these frames caused by the lacquer being put on before the paint had fully cured & they sorted me out a new frame.

Definitely worth contacting the supplier (Halfords?) about this.

Certainly looks like a production issue of some sort.

I imagine they'll see you right, fingers crossed.
