Am I missing something glaringly obvious or are these exceptionally good value 29'ers albeit in need of a fat tyre upgrade?

If I'm seeing this right, does anybody know when they'll be available and the sizing looks a bit big by standard mtb sizes?

I've just seen on the Boardman website. Available mid December.

They look to have a skinny road-biased fork, 26/36/48t chain rings and as you have observed they've got hybrid geometry.

It's a hybrid, it's no more 'exceptionally good value' than any other hybrid. I'd not buy one to use as a proper MTB.
