Popped into Halfords at the weekend to get some paint and spotted the new carbon hardtail and the frame is fantastic. Internal cables, really nicely finished and the attention to detail was great - nice rubberised (PU probably) down tube and drive side chainstay protectors that had tapered edges so no ridge and nicely shaped stainless steel chainsuck protector.
It was actually like a less beefed up On One 456, especially with the matte finish.
Reba Ti fork with maxle fitting (seems to be on all of their top end bikes now), carbon cage rear mech and nice and low profile direct mount front mech.
Just a shame to see it is £1599 which I thought was a bit of a hike over the alloy models but still cracking value.
Anyone ridden one yet? Looks like it will be a good frame.
