Hora - the new stuff they've put in at Phillip Park is ideal for the little fella. Check out the HtN videos to see it. Also the BMX track at Heywood is really good.

Want to try either with me and the girls next weekend? Drop me a mail

At Phillips? - will do. Can do next weekend. He went to the Velodrome/BMX track again yesterday- loves it but once a week isn't enough IMO.

Is the track at the velodrome still booked up months in advance?

Yes- tends to be booked by the same people every week.. however yesterday I noticed a few new faces but alot missing.

One (new looking lad) went face-first over the bars onto his chin on the concrete-like surface at the start. He cried non-stop. I don't think he'll probably come again. Alot of parents are put off by such things even if its not directly-happening to your youngster. The secondtime we went hora junior went over the bars twice onto his chin! Still- as long as HE wants to do it. We'll keep going regardless of the falls/risk of. Give them a call- get your name down for one sesh even if its weeks off.

Yesterday was his 5th I think. Hes alot more proficient than the older 4yr old's. Yes I'm proud 8)

I was taking my lad every week last year, but after the olympics it was impossible to get on. I think there may be one in Chorley which is a bit closer for me. I might drag him down to phillips park if there is one there though.

Ask the guys building the Metro across the Mersey to lend you a digger for a few minutes. 😉

Heywood BMX track....

Good fun! In an I'm-too-old-for-this sort of way. Apparently you can do this there.
