Looking for some buying advise for a BMX for my 6 yr old boy, 16" or 18" wheels, and brand/model suggestions.
He rides a Islabike Beinn 20 just now with no issues.
I had a look at this one and thought it might so the job Mongoose Legion L18 2018 BMX Bike

Looking at size guide below, hes 117cm just now and bike would be in September so I am thinking 18"

Anyone able to provide any sugesstions, or is 6 still just a bit young for BMX
I wouldn't buy a borderline sized bike (or probably any bike) without trying for size in person.
You do realise it's going to be a lot heavier than his Islabike?
