The aldi warrenty is pretty good though. lets you return the rebranded junk that seems like a good idea but poorly executed.

I think speakers are a nice idea, better than wearing headphones, as you can still hear what's around you. Presumably the GPS navigation is just directions from a phone app, same as any other speakers.

Built in lights is also handy. Though indicators are pretty pointless, noone will realise what they are.

I ride with a guy that has them, they're pretty obvious (big orange flashing arrows).

If it fits I'll get one as there are quite a few 3rd exit roundabouts on my commute where the options are slow to a crawl, indicate, indicate again to turn off, get hit by undertaking car as you're too slow. Or keep hands on the bars and keep pedaling.

Issue being that this is reducing any effectiveness of the helmet.  More weight, either less EPS or more bulk.  all bad for helmet effectivness..  The helmest job is to protect your head.  Thats it.  This stuff will make it worse at doing so.

Surely the old TJ would have argued that indicators were a good thing as they reduce the chances of you crashing or being hit in the first place?

Given the average MTB'er already has one or two helmet mounted lights, and often headphones it's probably actually lighter and lower profile.

Not on a helmet.  Yes I accept avoid accidents is better than mitigating them.  But I want the most effective helmet I can possibly have when wearing one and adding this stuff must reduce its effectivness.
