I ordered a Formula bleed kit on Sept 6 for my Megas. Over a week later and still no sign of them. I mail them and they send out another kit, but it doesn't work. The bleed nipple is too long for the o-ring to make a seal against the caliper banjo. I contacted them again at the end of last week and they offered to send out a larger o-ring. Postie has just been today and still no sign of it.

I've now contacted them for a refund. The correspondence has been amicable enough, but based on this experience I can't recommend them. It appears they have not actually tested compatibility of their kits.

was pretty happy with my kit for the price, some tiny zip ties clamping the tube to the syringe/brass thingy would be a bonus as I had dot fluid leaking out those points, but fine apart from that.

Is a bit of windscreen washer tubing and a syringe from the vets no good for Formula brakes?

Not surprising. If it's tried and tested you need - http://www.epicbleedsolutions.com/

Universal bleed kit for £19.99 looks pretty good.

Especially considering I currently have Shimano, Hope and a Reverb that will all need a bleed at some point

EDIT, you just need to throw in a 7mm ring spanner!

I'm going to see if I can cut/file down the brass nipple, rather than send it back, but if that fails I guess I'll be sending some cash your way EBS!

IME formula fittings are not all created equal: I have to fit fatter o-rings on the brass screw-in bit for one banjo (on the ti-fitting-ed ones) than I do for the other.

Vorlich, is it that you have FCS adjusters fitted to your levers? Is this where their bleed adaptor is 'catching'?

I can definately recommend epic bleed kits, I bought the reverb one and a mate has the shimano one on my recommendation. Clear and helpful instructions and good quality products oh and a decent price!
