Have a Magura CP Air rear shock (with compression and rebound) which runs on a closed damping system. I'm guessing it shouldn't have any air in the oil damping chambers ... any advice on how to bleed it (no bleed valves)?

Could I syringe oil into the chambers via the compression and rebound adjusters and that'd force the air out?

Or is it a pro job?

i suspect it is a pro job,,,, dnot know the internal details but it would need to be filled in a certain position, fully open or fully closed
to getthe correct amount of oil in it,,

the bigger point is if there is air in the oil, then how did it get there,, leaking seal ? then this would need changing

a seal broke causing loads of stiction so I dismantled to have a look pre sending off for a service! It's running smooth now, but the adjusters don't adjust, hence my guess at air in the oil chamber? I did fill it with as much oil as poss and with adjusters in the open position.
