Does anyone have one of those universal bleed kits?

I have a pair of hope and Avid brakes and want to be cheap and not buy induvudual bleed kits as they are very expensive!

The ones I have seen are the Alligator and Cylco kits, has anyone used either of these kits?

I can bleed hope brakes quite easily, the problem is Avid require special bits to do so. If I were going to get a bleed kit I would like one that I could use on both systems ie the universal ones.

I had a go using a shimano bleed kit and found it great so was hoping to use that style of kit on hope brakes. Avid would then be done using syringes and what not.

I got a Formula bleed kit for my Juicy 5's. used it with no problems and its half the price of the Avid specific one.
