I was planning to head out early tomorrow morning head down to Rookhope and back over Bolts Law. What are the conditions like? Has anybody been out today?
Good question. That area is a candidate for a ride for me tomorrow. Still completely undecided.
I was up there in the snow a couple of weeks ago and it was fairly wild when the snow was coming down. On that occasion I played safe rather than rad, which in all honesty is is par for the course.
I was thinking of doing that route from MBR, start in Edmundbyers, over to Blanchland, then up to Slaley Forest and along the top and back down into Blanchland. I'll be on the fatty so snow won't be a problem but I think forecast says it's going to be pretty windy.
