Obviously there's the OE item, but does anyone know if the Osprey 1.5l bag for the Seral fits? It looks a bit longer left to right, which would make a mess of the intention behind getting in rather than the Evoc unit (the welded pieces to help it keep shape at lower fill levels)
Not really looking to save money, both are similar price on Wiggle but *if* it fitted the Osprey bladder might be a better bet for internal pack space.
Evoc bladder is listed as 28x18(cm) and 1.5l, the Osprey bladder is also 1.5l but haven't found measurements for it anywhere.
Decathlon 1l, 7 quid, and gives more usable space.
Is that a store only item? Doesn't seem to be showing on the webshop...
Do you lie it on the side?
Just took a photo of mine, it's 390mm wide. Slightly less when filled.
Hope this is helpful.
Aha, I see, the Decathlon one is the backpack bladder. I guess if it fits sideways it's cheap but I can't think that the hose connector hallway up at one end (when in a hip pack) is going to make life easy getting the second half of the bladder.
Trailtom, Cheers! Exactly what I wanted to know thanks. I'm pretty sure now that the Osprey won't fit. Checking the Evoc pack, you can basically fit a 300mm steel rule in the back and that's it seam to seam so while obviously there's a third dimension to the bag, starting with a bladder rolled in on itself before you start adding water is not going to help with fitting other stuff in the pack...

I've not experienced that issue, you're over thinking it. It doesn't work tjat way, no air gets into the bladder, the water has nowhere else to go but out the tube!.
My camelbak 3l, with about 1.5 l of water on its side fits fine. Just needs a wee fold at the filling hole end to make it fit.
