Has anyone used this tent for bike packing?
How did you rate it?
Can you get the weight down from 1.5kg if you change the pegs etc?
Is there anything else I should be looking at?

Thanks for contacting Highlander. We only have had 1 revision of this tent as we’ve had no complaints thus far. I can assure you the waterproof rating of the ground and fly sheet are both in excess of 2000mm² as I’ve seen it tested myself. As for the weights please see below:
1.6kg overall (doesn’t include storage bag)
Pegs – 0.4kg
Poles – 0.3kg (11x2inches in bag)
Inner – 0.55kg
Outer – 0.35kg
Storage – 0.05kg
I hope this helps. On personal note I use the Blackthorn 2 for weekends away racing and it has been excellent for me.
