Hi Chaps,

I'm not being snobbish, but I've bought the missus a set of the £280 29er Revs, which are black... she has white rims, and a red frame.

Anyone have photos of their bike with black forks and white rims?

Just want to make sure it doesn't just look a bit odd

Cheers

Ricks

My old Chucker had white rims & black forks as standard:

Not the greatest combo tbh it looked a lot better with black rims

That soul is very pretty indeed. Looks like a dark frame does look fine with the dark forks and rims.

We're off to the Alps in the summer, and live pretty close to Fort William, so was going to take her on the uplift for some training before going, and her 120mm XC forks would be a bit better being a little longer and stiff I reckon.

That Wolfridge looks nicer than the Reign.... why sparkle pink though? Do you like unicorns?

Abigale picked the colour she wanted, only 12 years old at the time

I have white Flows with black Fox Vanillas on my mmmbop.

No photos, but it looks super rad (or whatever the kids say these days).

Probably liked Unicorns. Unicorns are fine. Hell, I like unicorns and I'm a grown man.

LoCo... she was actually chasing me on flat, swoopy descents. Until I got the 5-spot 😉 Man you'd like that bike.

Anymore for anymore? 🙂

I'm more convinced it'll be OK, I was imagining a colour mismatch disaster and a girlfriend not being happy.

I suppose getting some Revelations as a random gift is nice enough on its own 😉

Alex, that's lovely- definitely the least awful use of coloured cable outers ever, well done!

rickon Unicorns exist they have just put on a bit of weight

The general rules of any tarty bike colouring are
1) It's got to be the whole bike done perfectly.
2) If it's looks good enough to be pro better have the skills to pull it off

I'm impressed. I fancy some Black forks on my Spot now 😉

Cheers chaps, I'm less worried she'll not like them.
