Looking at a new wheelset for my steed. I'd like a set of Hope Hoops, had them before and would like them again. If I can save money I'd like to and was considering the Black Flags on CRC for £220. They seem quite good from I can find out, maybe some bearing issues but that can resolved or is it work spending the extra on Hopes? any long term black flag users on here? Thanks
I had some black flag Pro 2012 29er wheels. They lost all tension in the rear wheel after max 10 rides and the bearings were so badly sealed they were already grinding even though I never hosed them.
I returned to CRC and got a full refund.

So not really a long term user, but not a fan ( as you might have already realised)
Good to hear though, I think it may be worth spending the extra cash on the Hopes.
