That is BRILLIANT! Just goes to show... you don't need 6-7-8 inches of travel to have fun, or be wickedly fast.

Exactly, I do it all on a rigid single speed. (I may not be as fast as Nino though)

looked like a fun trail. (though those "pinch points" would be a pain if there was a lot of you)

Looked to me like vindication for my 6 inches of travel. I’m not Nino. Even Claudio was glad for being on a bigger bouncier bike.
Great video though, really enjoyed that.

Great video, just like the last one. The bit thats gets me, look at about the 7 minute mark, when they have already done a lot of descending, look how bloody high up they are!

Living in a very flat bit of what is a reasonably flat country anyway, this makes me incredibly jealous. I would dearly love to live somewhere with proper mountains out the back door like that, its beautiful.

Gonna be weird seeing Nino in anything other than WC stripes this season. I dont think I was watching the last time he wasn't wearing the rainbow. I think he's in the blue and Gold of EU champ?

Graubunden is littered with hugely long trails like that. Its amazing.

I've ridden that trail too - the exposure is for real. not too techy, awesome flow, don't look down.

Rode it with a mate, it was a wee bit wet. After a long awesome section I stopped to let him catch up. You know when you stop to do that, and you wait, and wait - then you think, ooh, thats too long?

Yeah.

Started walking back up, calling his name. after 5 mins walking back up I saw a bike being tossed back onto the trail from the downhill exposure side, followed by said mate clambering back.

Pete was not a happy camper after that. He'd slipped on a root and 'shuuuup' off he went.

parp!

I had my eyes closed for most of that.

Yeah you only need lots of suspension when it's rocky, and you only need slack angles when it's particularly steep. At all other times XC bikes are faster, that's why they make them like that!

I don't have an issue when you run along side the drop.... it's those down hill switch backs where your facing and rolling towards the drop that give the heebie-jeebies.

He’s some rider, Claudio is no slouch either. Penalty for failure there ranges from a long drop or short drop to tree, neither something I’m interested in.

Often wonder if I’m over biked or XC pros just make it look easy and I’m adequately biked.

Any other good XC riders on youtube?
