I've been using BKOOL for a while now and really like how you can set up a route with ghost riders (including yourself) as a challenge. However, most riders on BKOOL are much faster on the flats so I'm looking for something different.

Since everyone raves about ZWIFT I'm giving it a go but cant work out how to just set up a route with ghost riders. Is this not possible? Or even a workout in a virtual environment with a few similar riders?

I've looked through the group rides but there are none between 9am and 5pm. I know thats when most are working but not everyone.

Are you filtering right ? Or not on GMT ?

There's a group ride almost every 20 mins tomorrow between 9-5

I'll have another look but could see any. Just filtered off road and afternoon and there were none.

Yeah it's the off-road that is killing you. Wasting your time there on zwift.

I'll try it tomorrow but might just stick to BKOOl.

Just fancied a ride with more opponents. BKOOL has lots but they're mostly much stronger than I can ever be and not many very hilly routes.

It's a turbo trainer and a computer generated environment. What are you looking for by filtering for "off-road"?

A virtual off road environment with more hills.

There are 4 pace partners running at all times, roughly at each of the different categories of you are wanting that. But the benefit of Zwift is that there are people on it so you don't need a false/shadow person to ride against.

If you want to ride against 'opponents' then go racing, and there are shed loads of them at the moment. Or there are Tour du Zwift rides on the hour every hour that you can ride as hard or as steady as you want in.

Off-road/onroad is kinda irrelevant when you're in your garage/spare room going nowhere.

New York circuit has lots of short sharp hills, though it's a virtual Central Park and then clear surfaces that create additional routes above it.

Watopia Myan Jungle Circuit is pretend off-road. Some hills, especially with the new bridge section.

Watopia Titans Grove is hilly, with dinosaurs.
