Are you handlebars on back to front?

The handlebars look fine, I think it is the rest of the bike...

Watching this from my rubbish phone, but it does look like there's a ridiculous amount of steerer sticking out from the headset. 😯

EDIT: Thanks for sharing, I always enjoy a half decent vid.

It looks like the grips are pointing forward. As if SOAPnhas reversed the sweep to lengthen the cockpit..

The gopro is upside down to make the angle better but makes it lower.
Makes the bars look odd where I am leaning back so much and hanging on for dear life.
Puncture fixed here is part 2

Glad I've seen that now - don't think we missed out by doing Llanberis path instead on Wednesday!!

Looks tricky to try and maintain any real flow on some of those mid-parts whereas Llanberis was rideable the whole way down. Nice riding tho 🙂

Tbh after hiking and biking up llanberis I was a little disappointed riding down the Rangers path.
Next time it will be up and down llanberis.

Epic! I look at the gnarly bits and think "could I ride that?", but don't want to have to haul myself to the top of Snowdon to find that I keep getting technically defeated! They don't look easy on video and things are always bigger and rougher in real life. Will have to find similar bits to session before I make a trip up there.

cgg - my mates and I were sitting at the bottom in the rain smoking a spliff when two guys rode past on full sussers with full face lids etc etc. we decided on the spur to do it and it was no biggie. 1xblue pig 1xchameleon, and one yeti 575 - no ff lids and I was wearing shorts and a couple of shrunken woolen jumpers. the first sections are seep as hell but, meh - the only thing I didn't ride is the two drop short dropoffs at the end and that was because I crashed 1/2 way down flat out and got the handlebar in the front of my quad muscle after which I was unable to bend that leg.

Just do it brohan!

EDIT: There's a load of folded slate-like rock with vertical strata - FFS wear some serious gloves or if you OTB you'll slice your hand to shit/dangerousbloodloss/severed tendons etc etc

Thought I'd been less 'gnarr' by not going down Rangers but in all honesty, after 3 days riding and then hiking up Snowdon, I couldn't have cared less!

Downhill was excellent - we did it Wednesday evening and it was superb...views were amazing and we could just about make out the Isle of Man in the distance. Can't post pics from my phone but have a look on tumblr

Nice pics, we did Snowdon in similar weather on April 1st last year except we descended on the Ranger path. Well worth doing but over very quickly, or it would have been if one of our group hadn't punctured half a dozen times!

Cheers Simon - might try Rangers next time. Ended up with three spare tubes and didn't get another puncture the whole week...typical! 😉
