Somebody owns it and they can choose to sell it if they like....i hate this sense of entitlement MTBers seem to have about the countryside, a lot of it is private land and you are lucky to be allowed on it!
I feel lucky to be allowed to ride in the area. Not sure why we are not allowed to be worried that the opportunity may not be there much longer?

That is concerning...worse case as i see it is like the the wotton estate where everything is fenced off with lots of 'private keep out' signs aside the FPs & BWs

Yes Scotland has better access laws.
Yes people can sell the land they own
Yes we're "lucky" to be allowed to ride on it.
Yes we can be worried that some land we ride is changing ownership and so some of our trails might not be available anymore.
