I have been looking at a new trail frame and the bird aether looks like a good option as it's 27.5.
Can anyone confirm if the frame have bottle mounts? I cannot tell from the pics I have seen.
Also if anyone has one in medium and they are thinking of selling, let me know as I'm interested. This also goes for an older transition scout (2018-20 not the newest version).
It does yes, on the down tube about where the kink is. They supply a special mount to alter the angle the bottle sits at. On my large a 850ml bottle guys comfortably.
I need to get the wedge mount, currently using a di2 mint which kind of helps

Note - if you use a piggyback shock you won’t get a normal bottle in there (well that’s certainly the case on my Large Aether 9). I had to use a Fidlock mount fitted ‘upside down’ and can only use the smallest size of bottle they do.
