What do You think about use the old biopace rings as the Rotors? I mean, bolt up in other position.

Turn clockwise or ccw 1 or 2 hole(s). So...?

You can emulate it to an extent but not truly because of the bolt pattern.

Yeah, sure. The 5-arm crankset won't be ideal... but maybe it worth to try! 🙂 Should i turn 1 hole ccw?

Biopace tried to even out the pedal stroke by over gearing the dead spot. Rotors and q rings do the opposite by over gearing the power stroke bit. So 180 deg works best...which you can't do with a 5 bolt chainring. I've done it BTW and didn't notice any difference at all YMMV.

I can turn the Biopace rings 144 or 216deg. Which one should I try?

This was how I set them up.

I'd try both, like I say I never noticed a difference so I'm not exactly qualified to suggest one over the other. I was running singlespeed as well if it makes any odds.

you want the most eccentric bit (biggest bit) of the ring top to bottom with the driveside crank in the 4 O'clock position or as near as you can to emulate positon 2 of a rotor Q ring/
