Well I have decided it is the best mtb photo I took all year, and was on the best ride of the year, so I'll keep posting it as long as people keep asking what your fave photo of 2008 was : ) There may have been one better than that but I am banned from posting it now.
Most of my rides in 2008 have been on my tod, and these even in the sunniest of weather dont produce great pics.
I quite like this one, taken by my mate on a Berwick to Derby 3 dayer, that's me and blackhound in the distance and we had just ridden up through that mist.

I keep going back to this one. Not because it's the best, I think it's a bit of a cliche, but because it was such a great day that I know I'll never repeat. We rode for about 13hrs trying to link two areas via a lost valley. It ended up being a mission, with lots of carrying and retracing of steps, and we found ourselves up here, about 800m above my van as the sun set over San Sebastian. The last descent in the dark was interesting!
