I have a long lost friend that now lives in Perth, WA. Always inviting me out for a visit. Thinking about it. 3-6 month work/play holiday based around Perth.
Where is a good source for info about biking in that area? Would like to take one of my bikes with me... not sure which one...
To be honest, a road bike would be the best out there.
Loads of well surfaced cycle tracks that run all round the Swan River and up and down the coast.
You'd be driving a bit to get any decent MTBing in, but if you do check out the Goat Farm.
Took my hardtail out for a month a few years back, and was there for December. Road bike would have been used far more.
