Shed broken into last night, second time despite increased security.

Stolen:
On-One 456 bike (18"), light blue, black Revelation forks.
Frame no: PY5330486
[img] [/img]
This was one of the very original batch. It has a slight bend in rear drop-out. It had no chain on so if you see a shiny new chain on an old looking bike...

Kona Manomano bike (16"), black with red lettering
Frame number H1K56743
[img] [/img]

Orange Sub5 frame, silver with Marzocchi bomber forks still attached.
Frame number 531000
Bike register tag CYC0099382
[img] [/img]

And if anyone has any tips for securing my shed... 🙁

Alert the local shops in case anyone brings it in for a new chain.
I'm just down the road from you so I'll keep an eye out.

There are a lot of bikes going round here at the moment (Stockport) and I've heard of a few multiple thefts such as this one. Drop me an email with your details and which nick you've reported it to (plus an officers name as contact if you have one) windowshopper and I'll add you to the list in the shop then I can let you know if I see anything.

Sorry to hear about the thefts.
Security tip: Put your shed indoors! My bikes live in my cellar. Wide bars on a 32lb bike are hard enough to get up the steep cellar stairs as it is, impossible to do quietly.
When bike thieves get tunnelling equipment, I'll go to a steel-lined cellar!

Oh, security...

...bury huge concrete block with ground anchor underneath shed. Attach bikes with big motorbike chains and locks etc.

P.S. have tweeted North West MTB Centre.

Posters up in the workshops of NWMTB and Decathlon. Not feeling very hopeful to be honest, but you never know.

Deveron53, sadly the cellar's not an option at present.

clarkpm4242, thanks!

Try Halfords in Stockport and Will's Wheels in Heaton Chapel too.
It'd be worth going for a little walk round Longsight as well, possibly armed with Bombers/big mates/vicious dogs.

Yeah I should have thought of Halfords. Don't know Will's Wheels even though it must be under my nose!

I think I'll give Longsight a miss. My only Bombers got nicked last night too!
