Browsing lots of threads here it seems that loads of people have a good number of bikes, certainly more than me.

I’ve only got 2
- Specialized Allez, now running mudguards, flat bars, singlespeed and LOTS of reflective tape. Commuter and hack bike
- Specialized Hardrock Sport Disc – only current MTB. Standard apart from a Reverb on it

I’ve got a Cotic Solaris on demo (have had it a week) and will be buying this but for now the Spesh is my only MTB

3 is a struggle in the garage as I’ve got my motorbike in there as well as loads of tools, storage and other bits. 2 in the garage is very manageable. Wife’s bike is in the shed. Would love a 3rd though, either a cyclocross bike or a utility bike

So, what ya got?

Just the two... One a Merlin Malt 2 hardtail and the other a Malt-R road bike.

I'd toyed with the idea of getting a full sus, but just don't think I would use it to its potential.

I have none and my shed has security lights, a reinforced steel door and an alarm. I don't live where you think I do and the bike that I don't have is locked inside the shed and is of no value.

On Friday morning I had 3, by Friday afternoon I had two and a pile of bits. I'm hoping to get down to one soon then very quickly back up to two with some fatness.

I have a guard cat. He'll chew yer legs off.

One ancient Lee Cooper XC bike now wearing slicks and only a single cog.

Lots, all rigid and with one gear and yet they are all "NEEDED". Luckily new lady taz also approves of niche and I have unfettered access to add to the collection as long as I build her shiny bikes as well. None of this trying to hide bikes shite or lying about cost of bits, like some have to do 😀

Mrs MTG is quite happy for me to spend as much as I want on bikes, as she gets the hand me downs. 😀

As to the original question;
Several, including wheels from 20" to 52", a choice of 1, 3, 14, 20 or 27 gears and even some with two seats.

Hmmm, I do a fancy a Brompton as well, just cos

There is no way I would want my bikes in the house (and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be welcome there anyway!)

What I really need is a double garage (or at the least a modern size garage, mine is tiny)

Nothing new,

Kobe Ti
Pastey Howler, in touring guise
Giant Reign
Scott MC50 needs a few bits

Next purchase will be a full on tourer, either Jamis Aurora Elite 2015, or Genesis Tour de Fer, or something very much like them

Have reached an all time high number which I need to do something about it - thing is they are each worth more to me sentimentally than they seem to be work on the secondhand market.

1X Carbon road bike
1X Carbon TT or Tri bike
1X Ti Cx bike come winter hack
1X steel fixed wheel bike for bimbling about the village
1X alfine geared steel 29er 'winter mtb'
1X full suspension alu mtb
1X turbo bike
1X recumbent touring bike*

probably enough 'bits' to cobble together another 2 frankenbikes.

* new (to me) purchase and current favorite play thing.

Moots disc road bike
Seven disc gravel bike
Moots disc CX
Lynskey single speed 29er
Brompton 2 speed

All locked in a bomb shelter on the 24th floor of a gated and guarded apartment block in Singapore. Why every house in Singapore has a bomb shelter, I have no idea, but it makes great bike storage!

Trek road bike - winter bike with mudguards and slightly wider tyres
Pompetamine - alfine and a rack for commuting
Revolution track - fixie
Kona hardtail
Cannondale CAAD10 at my parents house in Spain

I thought I had more than that. I know I got rid of one recently, but I didn't realise I was down to 6 now...

I find all of them less moany than a women.

Will probably get a hybrid at some point though.

Canyon Grand Canyon CF SLX, nothing's original on it any more except the forks, all the rest has been upgraded/ broken and replaced!

Singular Swift set up rigid (but geared)

On One Whippet set up suspended and SS

Merlin Maven road bike, with a Powertap hub that's worth more than the bike it's on.

Saracen Amplitude jump bike

Raleigh Mountain Lite (vintage CX frame) built up as a commuting fixe, with mad Cinelli LA84s

Dawes Jaguar vintage road bike set up as a SS winter road bike

7 in total, unless I've forgotten about one.

Pegoretti Duende dura/ace summer road bike
Chesini Prima SRAM force22 winter road bike (bit posh for a road bike but i don't want to ride shitty dolans/planetX/ribbles in the winter as it's when I do most of my riding, but it is steel though :-). Bought to stop trashing the pegoretti over another winter)
Condor pista fixed road
Giant trance-X (26in) great bike, can't see the point in changing it just for the sake of it.
Dialled love/hate SS. Will soon make way for a cross bike.

A very old Marin steel rigid lovely
A not quite so old Giant NRS
A not very new Spesh Enduro
A marvelously brilliant Brompton
A rather new Specialized Diverge

Had a bit of a review of the stocks when we moved a while ago. Am now very much in need of something else. Am thinking light, fast, playful XC hardtail for local missions, and then perhaps replacing the Enduro with another skill compensators.

2012 Saracen Kili Flyer, fillet blazed 853. Lovely, snappy feeling and fast. 26in steel at its finest
2007 On One Inbred, one of the 100 limited edition 853 frames, re sprayed, new chain stay, currently kitted out as a tourer.
2009 Specialized Pitch, well battered, rarely used, not for sale.
2015 Genesis Croix de Fer 10 for exploring and possibly light touring.

I'll never sell the Inbred, it's just too versatile. I'm planning it's second respray maybe next year, so that'll be good for another 6-7 years after that.

I've been N-1ing lately, so down to my Ragley Ti hardtail, my Cotic Hemlock, my Boardman hybrid... And an Onza Bird trials bike which, to be honest, I never ride because I'm embarassingly crap at it. But keeping it in the garage stops me from buying a trials bike.

I could build a decent downhill bike and a fairly nice xc hardtail out of spare parts in the garage but they don't count!

Oh and a very sad former-prizewinner-now-innertube-rack Suzuki SV650
