Ok I've barely ridden one in 2 months, but doesn't mean they don't still make me happy. Just discovered something awesome.

2.4 rubber queens do fit in a chameleon, and in a pair of revelations. Awesome.

Plenty of room up front.

Like a mud tyre!

Tight as a....

Also, cat.

Have you got any bike related pictures that make you happy?

Big thanks to paulo6624, brilliant seller, definitely recommended.

Nice bike, but the stem looks a bit long. Are those tires any good?

a pair of revelations.

Where's the other revelation then? I can only see one in the pictures. 😕

Serious question. Does that rear tyre not rub like a bastard when you're climbing or cornering hard?

Slamming is all about road bikes, and occasionally XC race bikes. That's neither, so you lot can calm down - I like the enthusiasm though 😀

Stem is 100mm, been thinking about getting a shorter one, but haven't got round to it yet. The 2.2 versions are awesome, can't wait to try out the 2.4s.

I thought it was "pair of forks" like "pair of trousers". No?

Don't have a clue, put them on today, haven't ridden them yet (except up and down the street for 30 seconds). I am expecting to lose a little paint though. However saying that, the 2.2s always ran pretty close, but never rubbed, the 2.4s only look a little bit closer..

Have you riden the bike in anger with the RQ's fitted?

I suspect that it will rub on the frame...

No need to ride that in anger, just ride it down the road that tyre will hit the stays! Wheels and tyres flex in use, Chameleons are known for not having the largest tyre clearance, you're asking for trouble IMO!

Have fun though, don't let me stop you...

Realman - your pics make me happy, for pretty much the opposite reasons they make you happy... at a guess.

I ran 2.4 RQs on Flows and had all manner of problems. They're too wide for the rim.

Hehehe. A mere 15kg of sideways load will deflect your average wheel by 5mm!

Good luck, have fun... 😉

Do you eat with a knife and forks?

It's a fork FFS. 😀

He'll be fine then it won't rub at all. 😉

Think I'm almost ready to give in. Rear tyre won't stop touching the chainstays. The tyre doesn't seem to sit perfectly straight on the rim, plus there's a tiny buckle in the rim I can't seem to get rid of (I'm useless at truing). And even if I got everything running straight I still think I'd have problems.

Front seems fine though 😀
