Replaced my usual do-it-all bike with a Cannondale. I have (and like) an Alpkit Kanga harness, but won't work on the Lefty fork.

Any ideas on a budget harness for a front dry bag roll, that won't overly foul the brake/shifter cables, and attaches to either just to bars, or to bars and headtube?

I quite like the idea of the Blackburn Outpost, but it does seem to get mixed reviews. And on further reading, says it's not recommended for carbon bars.

Salsa handlebar cradle or dr.jon cradle from wildcat.

Avoid anything that loops around your headtube like the plague.

To be honest, on a mountain bike just a simple drybag and straps (e.g. Alpkit Dual 20l) or basic harness set-up (On One/PX/Podsacs) works fine. I've done many miles with both. I have just bought the Topeak Frontloader for drop bar use, though, because pulling a drybag in against the bars makes accessing some hand positions tricky and crimps the cables exiting from the tape; not an issue on my MTB.
