The new shop will be in Richmond, South West London and feature many of the same brands that we sell in Poole, and some new exciting ones...

From your link guv? 😉

Looks like one will be able to get one's ink done next door as well... bonus!

D'oh!

Brainfail from yours truly.....! Must read things properly. That's the old Carphone Warehouse store just opposite London Scottish, I think.

As you were, folks, carry on.

Oops, a bit for a reply! bikelab Richmond has been open now since January and we're stocking Scott, Cube, Yeti, Lynskey, Merckx, DeRosa, Sabbath.

We've opened with a good mix of stuff, even though Richmond is very road focused, we've sold a healthy number of mountain bikes, particularly Cube carbon hardtails as they offer a lot for the cash. Lynskey hardtails have gone well, especially 29'ers and we are looking to put in additional 'gucci' mtb brands for 2012.

Bits wise we're stocking quite a lot of 'hard to find' stuff such as Industry Nine wheels, New Ultimate parts etc. Most of the guys ride both road and MTB. Our Danny was one of Brazils best XC racers and Matt has done a season in Whistler.

We do bikefitting, full workshop including some in house fork and shock servicing, all disc and frame prep etc. We're not elitist, if you want to swan in with stuff bought online and you have it fitted, we'll smile and do a good job at a fair price.

If you haven't been in come and see us, tell us what you want us to stock and also check out the updated website bikelab.co.uk and follow us on fb bikelabcouk

Oh and if you want a free coffee (proper), just ask.

Thanks everyone, coffee in Richmond is better as they have a proper machine there! The shop is about twice the size as Poole for anyone that's been in the Poole shop, it's about 3000 sq feet total.

As most bike shops in London are very focused on the road market, we thought we'd go with a good representation of mountain bikes and it's paid off. We have in stock bikes such as Scott Scale 899 (£8000 RRP), Yeti 5, Arc and SB66 on the way, Cube hardtails and FS up to around £3K and Lynskey Ti models including Pro 29er.

BUT, if you live around that area, what would you like to see us stocking? What about ride outs? Great connection from Richmond to the Surrey Hills, plenty of great riding not far away (Swinley etc).

Shall we do a singletrack discount password?

Cheers guys (and gals)!
