Looking at purchasing a new road bike frame, BikeInn have it the cheapest and in stock - what's the current verdict on them? Any problems? Site says the price is the price and no extra taxes/import duties but any real world experience?

My son just bought a wheel - tracking followed it from Spain to Netherlands, then Clitheroe (where I guess their UK warehouse is). Took about a week. No customs charges.
There's an app called After Ship tracks every movement of the shipment. Gets rather annoying if you have notifications switched on!

Yeah, OK, I haven't bought anything as large as a bike frame, but the stuff I have - drivetrain and stuff like that, has arrived with no hassle, I's use them again.

Still waiting on my tyres. No complaints really given they're coming from EU, but the shipping times on the website seem a bit optimistic, or are based on when the package arrives in the UK, at which point you get an email saying 'it's now with your local courier so might take 2-10 days'. So they met their original expected delivery date if you count that as 'your package is in Britain' 😎

Again, I'm not fussed, but don't be ordering anything if you really need it quickly.

i almost bought a Specialized Chisel from them, as you say due to the great price.

But after reading lots of reviews i was in two minds. Stuff taking forever to arrive or not arriving at all.

thankfully i managed to find a UK shop to price match them.

I think the general rule of thumb with them is to not be in a hurry for anything you order.

Yes, it's a S-Works Aethos frameset I am looking at - not in a rush at all for it but the price is very good.

I echo @13floormonk with BikeInn. Tyre ordered on the 21st of April and promised 10 days later. Was happy to wait. As of yesterday they were in the Netherlands about to be exported. I'm not in a rush but I'll certainly think twice about ordering from them again.

Same as beaker. Delivery is extremely slow.

They're a Spanish company, so delivery and comms are slow, and customer service is an afterthought (speaking as someone who lives in Spain). They are legit though, but I personally prefer dealing with ze Germans (Bike24, R2 Bike, Bike Components).

Has worked well for me for the stuff I've ordered. Price you see is the price you pay. Delivery has been very quick, quick, as suggested and a couple of days later...so I've been lucky not to be hit with a completely unknown delivery time.

Just because they say it’s in stock doesn’t mean it actually is IME.

good, but not to use if you need something quickly

Bought several items since Brexit. Prices include tax. Returns were accepted though took 3 months to get the refund. Would happily use again.

I’d wager it probably is, but the warehouse it’s in may be on the other side of Europe.

I had a great experience with them - but this was a simpler, pre-Brexit world.

I've used them a few times and would happily use them again. I suppose they won't ever be as quick as ordering from one of the UK sites but I've always been happy enough with delivery time given where it's coming from.

Bought a pair of tanwall Conti GP 5000 S TR in early 2022 because they were the only place in Europe that seemed to have them in stock at that time. Price was good also.

They took about 13-14 days to arrive from BikeInn. I was quite entertained tracking them - they literally passed through a different European country every day on their way to the UK, was a mad route!

I’ve used them a few times. I wouldn’t use them for something that I needed in a hurry.

I did have something that the delivery date kept on slipping, eventually I asked for a refund, and got one no problem.

I always presumed that they were drop shipping, hence the low price.

Have used them a few times when not in rush as prices are good, no tax to pay, no high minimum order charge (unlike some of the german stes).

They also seem to have a good parts list for components that are sometimes difficult to find elsewhere.

Definitely will use again

They do have the things they sell - but not neccasarily in the right country. They move them 'internally' within their company before they then 'sell' you them in the correct country, this is how they navigate the tax/brexit/import shenanigans.

I've used them loads - if you get over the idea of everything being available within 24 hours, then they are great, good prices, some really good stock, always turns up, always as described etc.

^as above.  My Barzo / Mezcal tyre combo finally arrived today, close to 5 full weeks after ordering.  Best price I could find online (under £30 each), though think postage was comparatively high at £8.99.  No extra taxes from what I could see.

My Mezcals arrived today, only place I could find my size available, and relatively cheap even with postage. Ordered on 2nd, estimated delivery 8th, actual delivery 11th.

Would happily use again on that basis if something not available in UK or a good price 👍

I have also received my tyre! Happy with the price but three weeks from order to delivery is a little disappointing, especially when it was initially meant to be delivered just over a week later. Luck of the draw I guess.
