Apologies to create another thread about another EU based bike shop but.....
I have searched and read all the threads about VAT and charges and it seems that the price you see is the price you pay.
Which brings me on to actually buying a full bike from them. Has anyone done it? I have my eye on a hardtail which appears to be a significant amount cheaper than in the UK. Everything seems to point towards it being fairly risk free, but i would like to hear others experiences with a large item.
And whats the safest way to pay to give me maximum protection? I would assume credit card, but i currently dont have one (probably a good thing), so whats the next safest option? Paypal? Or Klarna?
I also see many comments about delivery being fairly slow. Do we think this would be the same for a bulky item like a bike?
Any feedback or advice is much appreciated!
Can't comment on a bike specifically but never had any trouble with the small items I've bought from them.
I would assume credit card,
Assuming you have a debit card check the protections offered on that. Visa - and nastercard?) offer the same protection on their debit cards as they're required to offer on credit.

top tip, i will take a look.
I ordered a tyre on the 21st of last month, estimated delivery was supposed to be yesterday. As of this morning estimated delivery is now the 7th. I'm ok to wait out for a bit longer but I can't see me using them again.
Yeah, I have heard of stuff taking a while to arrive.
Was the tyre you ordered showing as in stock?
I wonder if they sell stuff they don’t have on some items? As I would assume it wouldn’t take that long to dispatch something that’s sitting on a shelf?
I bought a Specialized Diverge 9R frameset from them in 2021, wasnt available in the UK, only the s_works was frame only over here & £1500 more. Took 3 weeks.
I've had some stuff take a day or two, direct from the UK distribution, and I've had some take 2~3 months as it went from European center to center, to the UK. But it's always arrived.
Sometimes if you want to it cheap you have to wait. My main worry buying a complete bike from them rather than small items, would be any future warranty claim, or any delivery damage or issues etc. And the customer service follow up.

I'm the same, they keep putting the date back. I need the tyres for a bike rebuild so it's pretty annoying.
@dickie - thanks for the feedback. Sounds like a reoccurring theme with delivery times.
@monkeyboyjc - indeed, that had crossed my mind. If only the savins werent so great, it would be less of a draw!
I've ordered spare mechanical parts off them in the past brake levers as I didn't need the calipers, cranks, pedals, bars etc all have shipped a day or 2 later and arrived within 8 days, however I've ordered myself some new endura garb for on the bike and its saved me 55 quid but 5 days later and it's still not been shipped, est delivery is 10th-15th May but I'm expecting it's gonna take a lot longer this time round.
I wouldn't trust buying a bike off them I don't think, especially where warranties are concerned
I had a moan at BikeInn last night using the customer service chat about my lack of tyre. By this morning I had an apology and an offer of a refund, or I could wait a little longer.
This afternoon I’ve just had a dispatch email with tracking information so I may have my tyre in a few days or so. Not sure I’ll use them again unless I’m desperate or can wait for whatever I’ve ordered.

Exactly the same here! Mezcal 29 x 2.6 perchance?
Close! I had ordered a 29 x 2.6 Barzo. I feel better knowing it's not just me waiting for Bikeinn.
Ha, I had a very similar experience a couple of months ago with a 2.6 Barzo holding up an order - it was dispatched soon after a moan!
^ahhh, my order was for a 2.6 Mezcal and a 2.6 Barzo! Weirdly my order said the Barzo was in stock, but the Mezcal was marked as "in transit to the distribution centre" since I placed the order in early April...though the order is still yet to leave Spain by the look of it.
