Rode the Cafall trail today - pretty gloopy in places but still a great trail.

Thing is, despite lots of signs about the "tree killer" disease, there's no bike wash there any more ( unless I missed it - quite possible... )

I'd have thought the provision to at least wash the worst off would be pretty de rigeur.

Confused, a little...

Last time they had a bike wash there, I believe the locals constantly vandalised it.

How do you vandalise a hose pipe ?

Many options open to the destructive mind.

Last time I was there I asked.... They nicked the lot so just got bored of replacing it! Still have the wooden area though (well they did in Jan)

You wouldn't think it would be too difficult to lock the thing away at night...

Anyway - Afan today, with the basic hose pipe! 😆

fadda - the locals would just take the fence too!!

One of the problems of having the trail head close to the local population, only takes one or two local idiots to ruin it for everyone. Rode the Cafell and Twrch yesterday too and could've definitely done with a hose down before leaving. The stuff set like concrete by the time I got home, took two buckets-full to wash it all off!!

The more difficult you make it the more of a challenge it is 😉
