Hello all. I've been asked by a friend to find a rough value of some bikes he's got. As they're at the DH end of the scale I'm out of my depth so any help would be great.

1- 2012 Specialized Enduro Evo. Used but good condition, almost stock as in the link below.

2- 2012 Kona Supreme Operator, built with Marzocchi Bomber 888 RC3 Evo forks, Hope Tech M4 brakes, Superstar DH wheels and decent finishing kit. Condition is used but good. Frame is this one.

3- 2009 Kona Stinky Deluxe. Condition is rough and well used but has life left. Seems to be about standard as below.

Cheers. 😀

Thanks for your help. He doesn't have a figure, hence the question.

The enduro evo can be had for £1800 new, from Freeborn- slightly different spec but pretty comparable.

Unfortunately I really dont think the stinky will get much. Splittings probably the best bet.

Stick them on bay 99p start, no reserve. They will sell for whatever the buyer is willing to pay.
It will be a bit less than he thought but still do ok

+1 for what iolo said.

But the 15% they take through PayPal fees etc can be annoying.

Thanks to those that have tried to help instead of trying to be clever. We have looked on ebay and google + are also aware splitting is the best bet but thought some one here might have some idea meaning he could list them here or on Gumtree etc to avoid the huge ebay fees.

Obviously if they are put on ebay at 99p they will sell for what someone wants to pay and that is one sure way of finding the ultimate value but he is unsure if he's going to sell and it's a bit late once it's sold.

Heaven forbid some of the posters on STW ever need any help or advise.

Depends which crowd you catch, plus how much people have had of an evening...

Its just a lazy question. Do an ebay "sold items" search for accurate answers that you wont get here.

Sorry for trying to be helpful OP.
You and the seller knows how much he wants minimum so put them on here for that price. Simple.

1 http://www.freeborn.co.uk/specialized-enduro-evo-2013?gclid=CJuPkIGDr70CFUNxvAodG4cA5g You can get the 2014 for 1800 so near the 1000 mark sounds right.
2 Base spec Carbon Operator 3400 http://www.wiggle.co.uk/kona-operator-2014/
Top Spec 6400 so I'd be offering 2k tops
3 whatever someone will take it away for? Aim for 750 selling may/june to get the Alps bike shopper and be prepared to take less.

£1400-1600
£1600-2000
£400-550

Pinkbike works as a good guide especially for DH bikes.
