There's the basic stuff like the coastal path & the Crab & Winkle Way but neither are 'trails' as such.

There are a few groups that ride reasonably locally such as the guys from Activ in Folkestone who head up Canterbury way sometimes or even Drift Cycles at the Wealden Country Park.

Biketart also do some rides out from their shop.

There are trails to be found if you head inland from Whitstable towards canterbury. If you follow the crab and winkle cycle path towards Canterbury(approx 2 miles) you will come to Clowes woods which has some good single single track but it can take some finding. There's also Blean woods on the out skirts of canterbury. It helps if you can hook up with a local to get you around. There are quite a few woods to be found in and around but again it needs local help to find the better stuff.
Try these guys if you want to get out with a group and discover.

If you have a car, Perry Wood near Selling is ok for a quick blast and messing about. Mind you not been there for a couple of years!

Covert woods, just across from Biketart.
Enough little bits of singletrack there to keep you happy.

There's a nice 15-20 mile loop that starts from Wye and runs through the edge of King's Wood, Chilham and Crundale that's well worth a visit in the Spring/Summer.

The local trails are on chalky soil, which is pretty offensive in the Winter months, but once it dries out it's quite agreeable to ride on. It's flinty too, so make sure that you're running durable tyres.

There's some nice jumpy stuff around Perry Wood, but the local ramblers really don't like you going off-piste and can be objectionable even if you stick to bridleways. Otherwise, there's Blean Woods just outside Canterbury, which isn't too shabby.

The local area is crying out for a dedicated bike park - King's Wood would be ideal as it drains reasonably well and has a network of fire roads.

Lots of singletrack in both Clowes/Thornden woods and also in East Blean woods - Rough Common woodland car park is a good starting place for stuff that side. I would offer to show you around but am currently in plaster, message me after the 3rd March and I'll happily show you some stuff that might not be too obvious!
