You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
did the first few km of the Blue at Swinley today with the kids in the croozer and first experiment with the argos Sony mounted on the rear
Brilliant. They looked like they enjoyed that.
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!
Always rode with the cover down!!! 🙂 shame they do not make trailers rear facing might make drivers give you more room if they saw the precious cargo!
You were allowed to breed?
🙂
Looks teh orsumz!
Father of the year right there
Like!
edit actually HOW exactly does the crap not fly off the back tyre into their faces? Any time I venture anywhere off road with my trailer my two look as if they've done Paris-Roubaix. They don't mind too much but I get the guilt.
No, MussEd, you're only allowed to 'share'.
I normally ride it with the netting down and a mud guard, but let them suffer for the video 😉
Top work. Just got a chariot for this purpose. I'll show the mrs to show how safe it all is. Youngest at 6 weeks will be fine right?
My wife is due to give birth to our first kid today - that vid is one of the things I'm most looking forward to doing - they're having a great time!
Superb!
Bike trailer fun (possible [s]bad[/s] awesome parenting content)
Ftfy
Very cool, very cute... Stuff like that makes me think being a father wouldn't be too bad!
Hard work especially on a single speed!
Haha! between 1.30 and 1.50 had me laughing!
Mine would love that!
Haha brilliant, need to get my boy out there in the Chariot, thought the Blue would be too narrow in places for a trailer but obviously my caution wasn't warranted.
He's done the Forest of Dean and the Monsal Trail and loved it, time to up the Gnarl I think!
can i have a go?
I want a go too! It fits two, I can sit next to jaaaaaaaaaam!
Kimbers,
Top video. I work for the Croozer UK distributor, may we post this on our social networks? Fully understand if not.
Neil
The only thing not to like is that one of the lads has a dummy - that's probably just a pet hate of mine though.
Kimbers, fab video. Just bought a Croozer last week for the twins. How old are your boys?
Wooliferkins - when I read up online I saw that the baby sling inserts you do only get recommended for stroller mode, not bike mode. So am now buying the weber inserts for my girls who are 3 months. I don't intend taking them on the rides like kimbers till they are older but like the idea of getting them out and about on the smoother royal park trails and a few towpaths. Do Croozer do baby support inserts for little ones? supports for head/neck? Or is weber the way to go?
advice?
my lads are nearly 2 and 4, used the baby sling when younger, but obviously not such gnarly trails, it comes with a head support too
this is them a year ago, with the sling and headsupport,

good thing about the croozer is we can chuck their balance bikes in the back of it when they get tired of riding
Kimbers - cool. just waiting for a second weber insert and then we will be out the door, we wont be doing swinley for a while but taking them along into/around bushy park. their head control is getting much stronger but just not ready for too much sharp rad cornering yet. Agree, the storage 'boot' looks good/big.
Now that is how to be a dad! Awesome video.
If this makes anyone want to buy a trailer, I'm selling mine 🙂
Wooliferkins- yes spoke to the wife, feel free to post it
Awesome, reminds me of the fun we used to have with our Trek Go-Bug trailer... top fun and not at all bad parenting.
@molgrips: what trailer are you selling?
Oh and the dummy annoys me, but hes teethig at the moment and keeps chewing on things he shouldnt,
Yes, bad parenting! Fancy braking through corners and teaching them bad technique so young. 😉
Molgrips - just sent you a mail re trailer albeit hot_fiat clearly first in line.
Best video in ages.
Kimbers - is that the kid for two plus with suspension or just the normal one without?
normal one without, they do get bounced around a bit, I have the tyres hard for the nursery run, i shouldve run them a bit softer (and had the harnesses tighter).
On long ride they usually fall asleep even if it is bumpy- a neck pillow is very handy for that!
Ok ta. Just wondering whether it was worth quite a lot more cash for the plus with suspension given that I would use it on fire roads a fair bit.
Selling a Chariot Cougar 2, the one with suspension, good condition. Haven't set a price yet but demand seems high 😉
I have all the trimmings too, baby sling, big baby sit-up with headrest, jogging attachment, pushchair attachment and the exclusive US-only cupholder!
The suspension is pretty good if you have babies in it tbh. I wouldn't want to take a kid <12m in it without it.
Cupholder you say - sold. I've dropped you an email so you should have my details steve _ main etc. Definitely interested so let me know.
the trailers are so much fun - i get the twins in the back and the youngest up front in a Weeride Kangaroo - any incline becomes a bit of a challenge though!
Go for it Gotama, I think I'm after a croozer.
Kimbers: Thanks, much appreciated
ti_pin_man If you go to the owners manual it clarifies that in some countries it is illegal to carry infants in cycle trailers. In the cover all possible circumstances it says not to use on unsurfaced roads. It's a lawyers coverall statement from someone who;s never seen UK potholed roads. The weber does have the bonus of a washable cover
