Evening all,

a heads up for anyone who is in Cardiff and the surrounding areas. My mate has had his 2011 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR comp (red and white) stolen earlier this evening (any time between 6 and 7) from Lisvane in Cardiff. It's completely stock apart from the pedals which are clipless with a black plastic platform

If you could keep your eyes peeled that would be great.

We had been to the FOD so unlikely that we were followed but cant rule anything out.

Thanks

I'll keep an eye out around Gwaelod, Tongwynlais etc - have you let the Cardiff bike shops know to keep a look out?

Is there anything that makes the bike easily identifiable before we all clobber a shady looking yoof? 🙂

Does the owner have the frame serial number or something to prove ownership if there is nothing obvious to identify it?

I'll keep my eyes open too!

When my bikes were knocked from Penarth 6 weeks ago, the local plod suggested I had been followed home. Apparently there's quite a racket. As well eBay, look at gum tree and cash converters.

DanW, unfortunately the bike is completely stock apart from the clipless pedals with a platform so it isn't easily identifiable. I assume he's got the frame number written down.

Fandango, had you been to the FOD prior to your bike getting nicked?
