I'm looking to buy a pair of SPD shoes and would like to look at a few makes and try them on for fit. Anybody know a shop with a decent selection of SPD shoes in the Midlands? I went to Leisure lakes Wolverhampton yesterday and wasn't impressed with what they had on display.
Go to Fred Williams in Wolves - much better staff who know there stuff. A bit road biased but they do mtb shoes too.
There's Andy's in Amblecote or the other fella in Stourbridge. Not sure they have many between them, but if you were heading over at least there's two shops.

Mammoth in Milford is pretty good, could always visit and sneak in a ride over the Chase.
Worth giving them a ring re brands stocked. Usually have shimano, specialized and mavic, I recenlty bought DMT and Morthwave from them.
You could try the forest centre at cannock chase and get in some riding on the same day.
