Just wanted to say that I have received some absolutely brilliant customer service from a few bike shops over the last couple of weeks.

I only wish that all other companies would follow suite. I'm having a baby and the customer service we have recieved from EVERY shop for baby stuff has been SHOCKING.

Well done biking world, glad to know the recession hasn't stopped you giving fantastic customer experience!

Eh? Have I missed something? Are 3 out of 4 of those mail order sites? Pretty sure freeborn have a big online presence too... What 'great service' did they give you?

Received calls from all of them about problems with stocking issues and whether I wanted to continue with my purchases due to extended wait periods. None of them took my money either unless I confirmed I wished to continue.

Obviously this is what anyone would expect, but order furniture or any other stuff non-bike related on-line, then no phone call, no email...sitting like an arse at home waiting for a delivery that never comes after paying for specific day and taking time off work.
