Hi folks,
Anyone know of any central Scotland shops who stock full face helmets, downhill oriented pads etc?
Struggling with the usual suspects. Dales, Alpine, Evans etc
Thanks
Alan
I have never been in to the shop but their website stocks that stuff.
Worth a phone.

I'll try free flow, pretty sure it's mostly mail order but will give them a call. Is there any Stirling/Falkirk way?
Failing that next time I'm doing Inners I'll catch Icycle
Alan, try bespoke bikes in Denny, seem to cater for gravity assisted stuff, moreso than other local shops anyway!
Elevation in Linlithgow are pretty good for this stuff or alpine bikes in inners.
Inners is in no way central Scotland.
Sprockets in Kilmarnock.

It's not. They certainly used to stock a load of full facers in the shop, worked wonders for sorting out my pea-heeded missus
in no way central Scotland...KILMARNOCK
That was a joke right? 😮
No. Kilmarnock is in central Scotland, Inners in the borders.
20 minutes from Glasgow.
Kilmarnocks in east ayrshire.
Freeflow are the mail order front for Craig MacMartin cycles, they do keep a reasonable stock (for what you would expect in a shop that size).
Bikelove on Garscube road.
Gear Bikes on Gibson Street.
Is there not still a bike shop in Stirling? Stuart Wilson Cycles?? Was more XC back inthe day though.
Kilmarnocks probably a bit far if coming from Falkirk.
order from CRC then send back what doesnt fit.
What, every helmet and pad set hoping one is a decent fit?
I guess you PROBABLY won't need to order everything to find a comfy one. Might be wrong...
But i doubt many shops have more than 1-2 different full facers in store anyway.
I meant more in the kind of way that some brands fit people of certain shapes but not others.
So buy 2-3, from different brands! Sending 2 back is easy, and that gives you a good chance of finding stuff that fits. Personally I've yet to find elbow/forearm pads that are comfy, my POC ones cut into my wrists after a few runs.
