In my infinite wisdom, I've forgotten to pack my spds. Most places appear to be bike repair rather than bike shops, and only evolution appear to sell shoes, but not SPD in my size.
Any recommendations?
There's a Halfords in Bangor if that's any good. Can't think of any bike shops on Anglesey.
Cycle Wales used to be based at the golf course in the middle of Anglesey (bike hire too), I don’t know whether it’s still open though. Not many bike shops stock a huge range of shoe’s I’m afraid. Good luck!
Seems to ba a couple of shops in Llangefni, Anglesey Bikes (Cycle Wales looks like a bike rack place.)
Evolution Bikes in Bangor appear to stock shoes.
I would have said Evolution as well, We cycle in Llandudno is probably the next best place but you might get lucky with the following:
Go Outdoors Bangor
Mud Cows in Menai Bridge, mainly a repair shop but he does have some spares/parts.
Anglesey bikes Llangefni
Framed cycle co. in Llanberis.
Alpkit in Betws Y coed
Amazon with Prime delivery?

Came up with the above bike shop by google. It seems to have shoes and should be just across the water in Bangor.
Summit to Sea's website is not showing shoes but does have flat pedals if thats a posibility.
Hope this helps
Alpkit dont sell any footwear.
Evolution in Bangor is probably best. Its almost opposite Halfords too.
What size are you? If youre a 10 you can have a pr of my Shimano shoes. Im just outside Bangor
Couple of pairs of size 44 in Conwy advertised in the classifieds at the mo.
Sister in law has Amazon prime, due here tomorrow at some point.
Feel so daft.
On the bright side, you have got some new shoes coming! Don’t forget to visit Ligwy beach whilst you’re on Anglesey, enjoy yourself.
Easy done. I went to BPW a few years ago sans helmet. £180 for a ff in the shop there. Not worn it since!
you did order cleats as well didn't you....
I tell ya, never shop on the internet when drunk.
I didn't order cleats so ended up going to evolution bikes in Bangor to get them. Looks a decent shop but bloody dark.
Wasn't sure if I have a multi tool with me but have a 3/8" ratchet in the car (sold a commuter bike that needed a 6mm hex to adjust the seatpost collar and forgot to remove). So to Halfords to get a 4mm hex.
Amazon show up and I've order a pair of Shimano IC1.
SPD compatible but designed for turbo training.
New summer only shoes I guess. Out on the bike tomorrow where I expect the wheels to fall off and one of the massive seagulls to drown me in droppings or something equally as unlucky.
🤣
