Morning all

A group of us are planning a day trip to BPW and I'm keen to maximise my time there by booking the uplift. The issue is I ride a 29x3 and the site says that 2.75 is the maximum.

Question is has anyone done the uplift on a 29+ and if so did you have to do anything special to get your bike to fit?

Thank in advance

I am fairly sure a friend has done the uplift with a 29x3 on the front.  But the rear was a 2.3 ish 27.5.  If you are running low pressures, a tyre will squish in OK one would think.

I was there about a year back with a friend on a Stache. there was a single rack at the front of the trailer that would take the 3.0 tyres. Wasn't a problem as no one else was riding those tyres on that day!

There are some wider racks on the front of the trailer but I can't remember how many and max width tyre..... 🙂

The first two bike slots on the rack at the front (one either side) will take 3in tyres, none of the other slots will take a tyre over 2.75

BPW don't advertise this, i presume to put off lots of people turning up with 3in tyres and then not being able to all get on the uplift vans
