Good fun was had at Bike Park Wales on Monday. It was the GF's B-Day and rode with "Birds on Bikes" group.

Hey there! We were riding with you that day. I was on the Blue Pig and mate was on a Specialized. Had a fantastic day and it was great having some of the fairer sex on the bus with us.

Those three photos would be so cool to have. My best mate and me on one of the most awesome days in ages.

The guy in the yellow top was a good rider, no idea where he was from though. Was mates with the guy riding the madly fluro bike

Great photos!! It looks to hold up pretty well in the recent foul weather - wet but rideable!

We are planning 2 days at BPW in July. How does the uplift booking work? All available dates seem completely sold out - are new dates released once a week?

"How does the uplift booking work?"

All done on-line. But we went in the week and considerable less people about.

Trails are good, but then again I preferred the Blue Runs.

If I go again I'll mostly use the Blue Climb instead of the bus.

They release the dates 3 months in advance, so April for July bookings, I asked them the same question earlier his week as we're planning a trip in June.

Blue runs were my faves, but really enjoyed linking in the reds as well. Dai Hard was a mess really but a bit of a laugh. Rest of the Blacks a bit rattly on the hardtail. Willy waver was our fave, loved getting weightless on the rollers.

We did the climb three times on the Sunday and frankly that was enough. I'm a good climber too, although was on a singlespeed which made it a grind. There was a howling headwind and torrential rain as well come to think of it, surprised we even got out of the cafe in fact!

Yup - I'm the one on the "madly fluro bike". 😛

If you don't mind, could I get a full res copy of the one you got of me that's on Flickr? Email address is: williamhook at gmail dot com. Or if you'd prefer just throw them on Facebook and tag me - I'm http://fb.me/williamtm

Nice pics!

We're in the process of planning a trip to BPW, it appears that weekend uplifts sell out on the day they become available to book, so you need to be quick.

Thanks Simon. Are they released daily, or in batches?
