Have a big scuff on my Pivot Mach 6 (aqua blue)
Pivot have have kindly supplied a pantone (2228C) number and a US supplier, but they dont ship to UK.

First place I’ve tried say number is for a Ford grey paint. Done google search and it came up aqua blue so I guess UK/US number may be different.

Any ideas or pointers to where I may be able to source the paint?

We always advised customers to try Halfords or an Auto shop for a matching touch up. Lots less hassle and expense. Especially frustrating when a pantone match turns out to be a different shade because of batch differences.

Hi - I have also been looking at this for my new bike (not scratched it yet..but you know it's going to happen!). Like you I have the Pantone number from the manufacturer and I was going to use a company like this ( https://www.colourdynamics.co.uk/) to make up a touch up pot for me (costs around £5-10). I've not used them yet, but if you google there are loads of other similar companies that will do it.
Cheers Phil

Pantone is international, so wherever is telling you that's a Ford grey is wrong (or Ford have a naming scheme that clashes with Pantone's).

I'm impressed that this thread is already the 3rd result on uh, Bing, for "pantone 2228C paint" btw!
